It is feasible that failure cannot exist without progress and vise versa, leading to an attempt to understand this paradoxical notion. If failure and progress are intertwined, why not look at the value in failure? 'FAILURE + PROGRESS' portrays a generational displacement from clinical digital processes of the post-industrial age, clutching at traditional modes of production. Contemplating our technological feats and failures through different ways of manipulating objects in motion, Stephanie Kam, Tarryn McGregor, and Chintamani Rotstein seek to reconfigure the value of tactile qualities and re-skilled making amongst the tyranny of automated technologies.
