Melbourne’s favourite experimental designers Fashion Chelsea and Filfy Rish are joining forces again for their latest project, Lo-Fi Salon.
The experiential installation space and pop-up shop is a hyper-colour, sensory wonderland in studio 8. Doused in glitter, the space is somewhat of a shrine to the pair’s infatuation with the colour pink. The collaborators, for the first time ever, will be publicly selling their eccentric and sculptural creations, perfect for the ultimate festival outfit or summer look.
Their previous project, Opulence, dissected concepts of hedonism in a one-night only runway held on day two of Melbourne Fashion Week.
Lo-Fi Salon will also stock trinkets and accessories making it the perfect place to source that chrissy present for a weird friend, outlandish coworker or eccentric aunt. The launch party will be held at Neon Parlour on the 1st of December from 6pm.
Lo-Fi Salon will be open Thursday to Saturday and by appointment.
